So here are the ingredients that you need to prepare. Two cups of instant quinoa that is still uncooked. Half a cup of pumpkin that is till fresh. You can also use canned pumpkin but make sure that it is unsweetened. ¾ cup of freshly ground beef. Two tablespoons of parsley that is fresh and has been chopped finely. One organic egg or a free-range one should do.
How to make the burger
First off, go ahead and preheat your oven to around 350°F. While that is heating, get a baking sheet and grease it.
Get a medium bowl and start mixing in the pumpkin and the quinoa. When that is mixed well, add in your beef, egg, and the parsley. Make sure that all of the ingredients are mixed well and blended well. You can use a fork to do this or you can use your hands. Make sure though that your hands are clean before you go about mixing the ingredients.
You can use your hands to get some of the mixture and shape them into small balls that are just in the right size for your pet to eat. You can also opt to use two spoons for this step. When you have shaped the balls, go ahead and place them right on the baking sheet. Flatten them out so that they look like burger patties.
Place the baking sheet right into the oven and bake them for about 15 minutes to 20. Or you can check and see if the outside of the patty is kind of golden in color. The middle of the patty should still be soft. Take them out of the oven when it is done. But make sure that they are already cool before you give them to your dog. You can also store them in containers that are airtight and placed inside the refrigerator. They can be stored for up to seven days.
